Joaquin Esquivel from Philippines is influenced by acts like Nick Drake, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Brian Wilson, Prefab Sprout, and he is featured on the Z Block Compilation 2007: A diverse collection of music from Stuart Moxham, Alison Statton & Spike a.o. (compiled by Spike for the DIY label Z Block Records which launched Cardiff-based wonder Young Marble Giants in 1979).
Joaquin’s tracks on the compilation is taken from his debut album, “What We Know Of Heaven”, released on Bendi Records next week!
