On monday, July 19, the new Biljardakademien CD will be available on CD and downloadable from klicktrack.com. And soon it will be available from most other download stores as well, like itunes and emusic, and you will also be able to listen to it on Spotify.

When we meet Biljardakademien this time, three of the members from the last album left the band, and they were all replaced by the same guy; guitarrist and vocalist Bert Fredin, bringing a new more progressive and psychedelic sound to the band.

PNDC’s third release on Bendi Records is like the previous a remix E.P. with songs from his albums released on other labels. Once again our serbian friend worked together with greek Housework.

Once again we didn’t manage to make as much music available this year as we hoped to, but maybe next year… First out in 2010 is a new PNDC remix-EP and then we’ll see what follows next. We will soon put some old recordings in the laundry machine… 25 year old cassette tapes with Alfie and Control Addicts stand first in line together with the next Biljardakademien release: The psychedelic year.

And we also have some new acts and surprises waiting… 2010 might be an exciting year!

New Serene Dominic Vidcast - filmed at Arrowhead Hospital, I.C. unit 11

This vidcast finds Serene Dominic LIVE but just barely, from an I.C. unit at Arrowhead Hospital, recuperating two days after a heart attack he suffered after performing a Valentine’s Night set. Serene recounts the events leading up the “CLEAR!” paddles, then brings you a subdued “heart-safe” Lightning Round with Cris Kirkwood of the Meat Puppets, followed by a “REAL AUDIO DRAMATIZATION” of his interview with Nancy Wilson of Heart. Closing out the vidcast is actual footage of Serene’s near-fatal February 14th set at Donna Jean’s Libations, singing… “Me and My Big Heart!!”
