First Recycled CD on its way

The idea that started it all was to re-release material from Stefan Wesleys 80’s tape label. This part of the record company is now called Bendi Recycled, and it’s soon time for the first record!

The tape label (first called CA, then Enjoy and finally Mate) released band from different parts of Sweden, and even a couple from UK, but most of the tapes involved Stefan Wesley himself and/or his brother Kjell Häglund. Also youngest brother Magnus Häglund were featured here and there.

First out on Bendi Recycled is therefore a compilation CD with various bands including someone of the brothers, like Biljardakademien, Alfie, Season’s Greetings Control Addicts a.o.

The title will probably be “Recycled: In-house”. Release date is not yet decided, but beginning of may is not a too wild guess.

Eighteen symptoms of musical insanity

Out now on Bendi Records is Monty The Morons “18 Symptoms Of Musical Insanity”. The Damneds keyboardist has collected eighteen tracks recorded in the 80’s, previously released on various tapes, but now for the first time on CD.

Monty, who nowadays calls himself Monty Oxymoron, is also out with a quite new single with The Damned as well as a live DVD, but also another solo CD. “Living My Life Backwards” is released on his own label and includes new recordings. More info on The Damneds website.
