Great stuff coming up!

We are working on several releases right now!

After Green’s Restaurant, we continue our series of Swedish experimental tape classics with “27 Visions Of The Door” by Sigtuna based duo Datahysteri. Originally released in 1984, now with lots of bonus tracks.

We can also present another Jeremy Thoms act. This time it’s The Fabulous Artisans featuring Jeremy on instruments and the Neil Crossan’s vocals. Reminding of Scott Walker and Tony Christie, timeless music from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s… “From Red To Blue” is coming spring 2008.

Even if Helen is busy finishing her new album and writing songs with Martin Stephenson, she still had a little time to record a Christmas E.P. for Bendi Records.

But it all began when Helen bought a bass and joined the worst punk band in Brighton, Joby and the Hooligans in 1977 (but they had the best songs). She formed The Chefs who did a few Peel sessions and released a couple of singles. After a brief musical interlude with Lester Square (The Monochrome Set) she started Helen and the Horns who did more Peel sessions and recorded a couple of albums. After the Horns split up in the mid 80’s, she “fell asleep for twenty years, and woke up with a head full of songs and a heart full of energy to sing them with”.

A compilation of her earlier works and her last year comeback CD “Suburban Pastoral” (with guests like BJ Cole and Lester Square) are available from www.roughtrade.com.

Welcome to our new website. We’re moving to another server, and there are still things to do before we’re all done. Some material is still only available on the old website, like the Press Area for instance, but we are working as fast as we can to make this site complete.
